Ain’t Mitzvahavin’ is Greater Boston’s only active queer Jewish drag and performance group.

We produce live shows and events for our community to gather, in which queer Jewish artists can feel safe in their identities and empowered to explore their relationship to those identities through creative expression. We welcome people of all beliefs and backgrounds to join us in celebrating performance by and for queer Jews. Through our shows and other programming, we seek to build community and connection by offering dedicated space for queer Jews centered on art and performance. We reject any attempt to qualify one person’s relationship to Judaism over another’s, and we maintain the validity of the full range of Jewish experience. You are Jewish enough!
